ANNUAL PREMIUM SPIRITS RELEASE

VANCOUVER – BC Liquor Stores is pleased to release a special collection of premium spirits — whiskies, tequilas and rums — on Saturday, November 6, 2010.

This year’s premium spirit release features world-class products of interest for the collector as well as the novice. The selection includes aged malt and various whiskies, vintage releases, unique and limited cask finishing, along with tequila and rum offerings within a wide range of prices.
 

One of this year’s gems is Dalmore’s 50-year-old Scotch. Designed for the true whisky aficionado, this unique whisky received 96 points from Malt Advocate. Available for $1,300, the 100 ml bottle of Dalmore is encased in a special gift box and would make the perfect Christmas present for the Scotch aficionado.
 

Customers will have an opportunity to savour a taste of the Premium Spirits Release products on November 6 at the 39th & Cambie BC Signature Liquor Store from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Experience a new, ultra-premium, highly acclaimed libation every half-hour, and find new delights and great gifts for the connoisseur. Then, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., customers can join master distiller Mike Nicolson for a taste and educational event at the launch of Singleton of Glendullan 12 Year Old.
 

The rarest of the selection are available in limited quantities, so some bottle restrictions will apply. Customers are advised to shop early to avoid disappointment and for the best selection visit the 39th & Cambie BC Liquor Store. This event operates on a first-come, first-serve basis.
