LDB recognized as one of B.C.’s Top Employers for the 14th time
BURNABY – The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) continues its record as one of B.C.’s top employers. 2022 marks the 14th straight year that the LDB, the sole wholesale distributor and public retailer of liquor and non-medical cannabis in B.C., has been named to the list.
B.C.'s Top Employers, a designation started by Canada's Top 100 Employers project in 2005, recognizes industry-leading employers that create exceptional places to work. Its list is shared in the Vancouver Sun annually.

The LDB employs nearly 5,600people in communities throughout the province at its three distribution centres, 198 BCLIQUOR stores, 33 BC Cannabis Stores, and its corporate head office. It contributes over $1 billion annually to the Province of B.C., providing funding for vital public services like health care and education.
