The LDB issues six types of sales agreements. The sales agreements authorize licensed liquor manufacturers to sell products to specified customers in BC. It is the responsibility of new and existing manufacturers to familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions of the current sales agreement.
- Land Based Winery
This is for BC liquor manufacturers producing and selling wine, cider, mead or sake products made from 100% BC agricultural inputs. These manufacturers must adhere to the criteria listed in Appendix C of the Land Based Winery Sales Agreement.
- Commercial Winery
This is for BC liquor manufacturers producing and selling wine, cider, mead or sake products and do not qualify as a Land Based Winery.
- Brewery
This is for BC liquor manufacturers producing and selling beer and malt-based products.
- Brewpub
This is for BC liquor manufacturers with a Liquor Primary attached that will be producing and selling beer and malt-based products via a pipeline.
- Craft Distillery
This is for BC liquor manufacturers producing and selling spirit products made from 100% BC agricultural inputs, using traditional distilling techniques. These manufacturers must adhere to the criteria listed in Appendix C of the Craft Distillery Sales Agreement.
- Commercial Distillery
This is for BC liquor manufacturers producing and selling spirit products and do not qualify as a Craft Distillery. Commercial Distilleries may also produce spirit-based refreshment beverage products. Commercial Distilleries are not permitted to direct deliver their products.
